2025 09 20 2355 Cool, a note prefixed with date and time

Not too shoddy! But rather long.

Okay, I’m editing this note in the really rather estimable HelixNotes. I can’t remember exactly how I installed it on Linux, but it appears to run really well. Although I believe I have to download new versions manually, rather than doing automatic installations. That may be because I installed the .deb version rather than the .AppImage version… Octarine I installed (or rather, didn’t install) as an .AppImage, and as long as I remember to right-click the icon and click “Run as Program”, it works very well — and automatically updates itself.

The advantage of installing .deb files is that they are small. But they don’t have the full repository which they have as .AppImage files. Hm. I’ll have to try HelixNotes as an .AppImage, I think.
